About
GoodExts publishes small browser extensions. This website is for X Video Downloader, a free extension for Chrome and Edge.
What the extension does
X Video Downloader adds a download button to posts on X, formerly Twitter, and saves videos, GIFs and photos to your Downloads folder. The interface is in 9 languages and follows the browser language. Quality choices are Highest, 1080p, 720p, 480p, 360p and Lowest. On a profile's Videos tab, batch download scrolls the page every 2-4 seconds, runs at most 3 downloads at once and collects up to 500 files per run. Starting it again resumes where it stopped and skips files already downloaded. Multi-image posts are saved as _1 to _4.
The source code is on GitHub and released under the MIT License. There is no account, and the extension does not track you. Save media only when you are allowed to; see X's Terms of Service.
Privacy
Downloads and history stay on your device. This website's use of cookies is described in the privacy policy. How you may use the extension is in the terms of service.
